Social Networking...I'm over it!

Okay so when Facebook first came out, you can say I was pretty much a fiend. I would go on there and constantly change my profile picture, update my status, write on people's walls etc. Whatever facebook had on there, I was pretty much doing. At the time I was okay with how things were because I felt like I didn't really put anything on there that I didn't share with others in real life. It's not like I was a no show at anything social or I never talked to anyone then I would just pop up on facebook chatting up a storm. Nowadays...it's a different story. I feel like the internet is filled with no one I really talk to and yet I know lots about. Different things like how you feel, how you were feeling, where you've been etc. are all at my disposal. The sad part comes in when I feel like I can know more about you through a tweet(facebook is currently lame) than an actual conversation. Idk call me old fashioned, but nothing can replace an actual conversation with someone. The excuse I tweeted or texted about it just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe I am taking it a little too far, because as far as I go you really can't get too much information about me through facebook or my tweets. I guess I'm just frustrated, I would like to have real conversation aside from just bitching about things.
